Downloaded/installed fonts not available to use

Hello!

I have downloaded akzidenz grotesk font. I have also downloaded/installed the black/bold/light version. I can see all of those font options in control panel. However, when I go on photoshop/indesign/premiere, I can only find the regular font, just like if I only installed the regular and nothing else.

Here is a screenshot of what I see in control panel!

Thank you!

Vincent

Did you ever find a solution to this problem?  I am experiencing it as well.  all my other fonts are there but the newest one I downloaded will not show up in Photoshop, very strange.

Postscript Type 1 font support is being removed from Adobe apps (and the OS makers are also dropping support too), so if a Postscript Type 1 font, so that may explain why some fonts don't work but other fonts (OpenType or TrueType) work.
