Drop Shadow won't apply to fonts

So I downloaded a new font called "High Society" from dafont.com

It installed fine, but I can't seem to get a Drop Shadow to apply to any of the font within PS.

What am I doing wrong?

I've tested with other fonts and it's not adding the Drop Shadow to them either.

I know I've used them pretty easy in the past and they would always just apply the effect whenver I selected it.  But now it doesn't seem to be working.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

On your screenhot please click on Drop Shadow to show us that tab with settings, at the moment it is on Blending Options tab, we can not see what is set for Drop Shadow and that is crucial to demistify your problem.

Whoops, sorry about that!

I think I actually figured it out and was able to get a nice drop shadow on these thinner letters in this font.

Let me know if you think I should do anything else to the settings to improve my results.

Usually Blend mode is set to Multiply, Anti-aliased should be checked... You can play with Opcity, Angle and other settings like Distance to improve final result...
