HELP!
After a month or two, I opened Photoshop 2022 v24.7 again to work on images.
All my previous edited images are gone, only the original file remains in "recents".
The first time when opened photoshop the edits where there, but as soon i clicked on them they vanished. Now even when re-open photoshop they are missing

So, you are losing Adjustment Layers?
By @Semaphoric
I called Adobe customer service, they are gona help me. I will update you!
There is a clue here, probably there was a conflict between apps (LR - PH) because on lightroom on tjose images it appears the message "metadata has conflict"

Then it must be that you are expecting layered TIFF files, however, they are flattened.

Are the TIFFs layered?
I don't use Lr, so I don't know what is going on or what the expectation should be. If you want layers to preserve edits, PSD would be my preferred format without knowing how TIFF is handled.
Good luck!

Do we mean the same thing by "history" Carlo? This is the History panel and the history is cleared when the file is closed and reopened. What do you mean by history?
Can you post some screenshots? That would help us tremendously!

I'd add to Jane's request. This is all very confusing and I can't make heads or tails of this. Screenshots would make it a whole lot clearer. What exactly happens in exactly which application? Where were the adjustments made?
Can you also be very clear on what types of files you are referring to? Raw files? PSD or TIFF?

Adjustement made on Photoshop, NOT Camer Raw. The type of files are RAW

Those files now have a .xmp copy next to the original ones.

I was assuming that you were working on non-raw files.
The existence of XMP sidecar files, with the word copy in them suggests that the raw file also had copy in it's name.
I.E.:
ABC123.nef
ABC123.xmp
ABC123 copy.nef
ABC123 copy.xmp
The sidecar file has to match up with the filename of the original raw to preserve the edits.
If you only have ABC123.nef and ABC123 copy.xmp then just rename to remove the space+copy so that the XMP name matches the raw file name.

Is it possible that the problem is that i moved the edited saved files in another folder?
