Hi there, I cant get my old Epson Icc profiles to download from their ICC site. Only the Legacy edition. When I copy and paste from my Contents/Resources folder it loads right up in the print settings in Photoshop however it wont let me go any further within the print settings box (this shows my settings such as layout, color matching etc.). Why are my old Icc profiles not working anymore? Ughhh! any help here is appreciated!!!!! Thank you!
-Mike
PS my other ICC files load up just fine btw--just Epson wont!
Also I have already tried unintalling everything and reinstalling including my - then + printer of choice in printing preferences.
thanks after trying everything in the book -Im pretty sure my 2013 macbook air was just outdated enough that it wasnt reading the code correctly to load properly. I went ahead and bought a newer version and no more problems. Sometimes you just have to upgrade! haha thanks!!!! -Mike

Also just for your info they are loaded up in: System/Library/Colorsync/Profiles
theres no debate about where they are-they loaded into Photoshop just not usable. what the hell... i thought maybe the files themselves might not be usable from the source but it seems to be correct.

Missing profiles may be due to where the Epson drivers install the ICC profiles and how. Epson should be placing the profiles in the path below, which ends up being deep inside a 'package' and difficult to get to:
/Library/Printers/EPSON/InkjetPrinter2/ICCProfiles/
IF you see a folder named ICCProfiles and open it, you'll see one or more items, the names will vary depending on the printer. You may have to try opening the following package to inspect the contents for the actual ICC profiles. Because this is a package, you need to use the contextual menu option (Control Click) to Select "Show Package Contents" and you should see a list of all the ICC profiles inside that package. Copy or move them on your Mac to the folder where most of the other profiles reside:
/Users/~/Library/ColorSync/Profiles
Quit the Adobe product, restart it, they should now show up.

Thank you for taking time out for me. This was actually one of the first things that I tried (after a tech at Epson got back to me)...it still did not recognize the profiles even after loading. I truly think that my Mac is either outdated or malfunctioning in this regards. Either way I bought a new computer and no issues loading the old profiles.
warmly,
-Mike S.

There is an existing OS bug in the last 11.2 update that also causes these profiles not to show, even after moving them.

Oh wow-this is something else I also thought maybe could be happening. Unfortunately I have clients and work has to keep moving but I super thank you for the follow up with me! All my best!!!
