Eraser tool not erasing to 100%

I know this was a previous discussion on here, but the "solved" isn't solving it.

The eraser tool is not erasing at 100%. It's like I have the opacity turned way down and continue to erase in one area and it never seems to get to 100% erased. I have the opacity set to 100% Flow 100%, I have "reset" the eraser tool, I have the Wacom pen settings on PS and at correct setting. The blk/white are both at 100% color. This just started out of the blue.
Thanks!

Thanks for the screenshot. I opened Ps 23.3.2/MacOS 10.15.7 and copied your settings. I don't have a tablet, but using the trackpad, seems normal. Do you get those results if you  remove the tablet? That would isolate the tablet,  but unfortunately I don't use one. I'm sure I'm using the same eraser brush you are, and here are the Brush Settings, so you can spot any difference:

Thank you for the response.

It does seem to be pointing toward the Wacom, but I don't know why. I have a small at my office and a medium at home and it's doing the same on both. I downloaded and installed the driver and it didn't help.

If it was working before, perhaps the Photoshop settings file may have gotten corrupted. Let's reset it:

If a reset does not work, look at this guide to see how to  set it up for MacOS:
