I have a MacOS 11.7.1 and Photoshop 24.2. My problem occurs, when I am trying a file for a second time.
It goes like this: I open a picture, I do something and save it.
Then it comes to my mind to change something more in the picture and want to save it again. This does not work, it get the message "Volume Error". An Photoshop generates a file called"Adobe Photoshop 20234488240824437". The info tells me it’s a .jpg just like the file I was working on. All the meta info looks just like it should be for the file I wanted to save. But it has no fileformat appendix.
Even if I try to "save as" and want to replace the existing file, I get the message "Volume error".
The problem only occurs when I try to save on our server (Synology DS215+). If I save locally on my Mac it’s no problem. I can save again and again after every change.
It occurs in all kinds of file formats.
What can pe the problem?
It worked fine when I was woking with an older version of Photoshop under MacOS10.14. But since the update to Big Sur and a newer PS version, I have this problem.
Any help is appreciated.
