Extra Space around Photoshop Artboard when exporting

I Think I have a decent fix.

So, instead of selecting "File/Export/Artboards To Files"

Go to your layers panel, select all the artboards folders and right click on this selction then select "Export as" this will export all artboards at the correct size without all that extra white space. This same thing works for exporting individual layers btw.

I've been experiencing the same problem and it seems there's no real solution on the internet, I've been searching for HOURS trying to find a solution, seems like people have been having this problem for years, with no answer as to why it happens and how to fix it. I've finally found something that's worked for me pretty well.  When it has the extra space around the artboard for no apparent reason I've gone to Image > Trim and tell it to trim transparent pixels,  that's solved the solution for me MOST of the time, so if you're experiencing this problem, I'd go ahead and give that a shot to see if it will fix your problem.

(ps, it's frustrating when this form says the problem has been 'solved' but the "correct answer" is only a response "hey, are you still having this problem?" maybe don't mark it as solved, or at least don't have that response be labled the "correct" answer)
