Hi how are you?

I´m facing a problem which i cannot undestand why is happening. When I open Photoshop the following message is shown "Fail: DirectX feature level 11.0 available, feature level 12.0 required" (I attached an image), but I have DirectX 12 installed (I also attached an image with the Dx info).

I do not know how to solve it or what can I do to use the soft whitout any issue.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Matias

Hi

The NVidia MX130 GPU has some Direct X 12 support but, importantly, its feature level is only 11. That is a hardware limitation, you cannot install software or update drivers to bypass it.

DirectX12 is an API, application programming interface. Your GPU is able to communicate through that API, that's what "DirectX12 support" means.

However, the feature level is the actual, physical capabilities of the GPU. The feature level is what the GPU can do. That's a hard physical limitation, not something that can be updated.
