Question

Filter Effect lost after resizing?

Hello!

I am having an issue in Photoshop where I created a piece and then needed to increase the size of the image.  After increasing the size, the filter gallery effects I applied on the original image are not visible on the art work, even though they are still listed in the layers panel as active filters.  How can I make sure not to lose all of my filters and adjustments while resizing?

Also please state which exact Filters are affected, the Filter Gallery does encompass a few.

If the Filter settings that use px cannot handle the values you would expect for the size-increase then that’s that.

But you really should provide more meaningful information, for example, as jane-e requested, meaningful screenshots.

Best taken at View > 100% for both states – before and after resampling.

Is the layer a Smart Object?

Please show a screen shot of your Layers panel so we can better see the issue. Thanks!
