Filter Plugin: generate a new image

How can I put the output image in a new window?
Usually the output image is in the same windows og the input image.

You would need an automation plug-in to help you out.

The automation plug-in could 'listen' to your filter. Duplicating the image
and then undoing your step in the original or duplicating the new doc before
you run the filter. Running the filter on the duplicated document.
