Hi!
I just subscribed to Adobe Photoshop solely because if firefly generative AI. I only need to EXTEND the size of images. The first one I did worked well but then the next started generating weird things with the same prompt "extend the image" Can someone tell me what i am doing wring. (Same prompt did amazing on the first image) Thants in advance for your help
Without seeing your entire interface, including your options bar, Tools panel with Crop tool selected, and Layers panel with all layers visible, we can only make guesses in the dark.
For Generative Expand, use the Crop tool, omit the prompt altogether, and resize larger using the the handles. Make sure the options bar is set to Generative Expand. Accept the Crop.
See this post for tips on effective prompts:
...Could you please post screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, …) visible?
If the area to be filled is empty try using no prompt.

Check the Fill in the drop-down menu.

Now the problem is moving in a different direction.
I right clicked and chose "generative fill" and I am getting this error.
This has been an absolute waste of 12 hours (signing up, creating space in my system for the installation)
Wishing everybody good luck with their generation. Off to cancel my subscription and delete my account.
I do not have the patience to spend my money on things that do not yield results!

Hi!
I did post a screenshot of my interface but it was not shown.. rather just maked as [image:image] and it was a momentary shot, so i did not save it.
In any case the issue escalated and I had to remove photoshop, upon trying to reinstall now I keep getting this (installation failed)
I think i will just cancel and pass. I have spent too much time on this than designated. I have other AI apps to evaluate

You may have sent that post by email. The forum software strips out images from emails. You can use the Insert Image button or use Copy and Paste. I know it's too late for this issue. 😊 Did you see my reply from yesterday where I said to omit the prompt?

Thank you so much!
So the trick is to not give any prompt. Interesting.
I will do that later. I am solving the failed installation right now and after that, i have a meeting. So i will certainly come back with the result later.
