Hello. Im new to photoshop and Im looking for a flour text effect with negative space tutorial. Then ones I've found online are from 2015 and I figured there must be an updated way to create this effect by now. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Hi Tiara. It would if you could show us an example.
One thing you might try is Text Effects in Adobe Firefly. Have you used Firefly already?
There are lots of flower fonts available if you Google.
You can clip a flower layer to a text layer, or use a layer mask on a flower layer.
I also added a tiny white stroke in this example to help define the text outline and shape.
Like I say, if you can show us examples of the look you are after, we'll do our best to show you how to do it.

Do you really mean »flour« like the whitish powder derived from grains?
What do you mean by »negative space« exactly?
Could you please post examples?

🙂 I didn't like to ask, but just in case, I have created some text with a flour effect on a white background.
What was that dad joke about a picture of a cow eating grass?

It really depends on what the original poster actually wants to achieve …
