Hi,
Not sure what's going on with the fonts but everytime I try to write out a paragraph each line is squished together. I thought I had it all sorted out using the Character panel but when I looked again it completely reversed the paragraph I couldn't figure out to get it back in the reverse (correct) order it was typed out so I just gave up. Everything I've tried including resetting the whole mess still gives me very squished together results. As it is I need to get this done so I'm going to use Affinity or some other program until I hear back from someone here. It behooves me that PS keeps the settings from session to session. In my opinion I'd appreciate a control to turn off and on that would either keep how things are set up font wise or to reset each session in how the program orginally ships. This is maddening and quite off putting.
Thanks
Richard

I did wonder iif Resetting the Type tool would return the Character panel toits defualts, but I just etsted and it doesn't happen. You have to reset each parameter individually, or you can reset the panel from its drop down menu
