Font measurement in Photoshop

I am unable to change text size back to point measurement. I find pixel measurement too unwieldly and also I am just not familiar with it. Is it possible to change it back to point?

Check your Photoshop Preferences perhaps some action or script change your unit type to pixels from points.

Thank you - that was it! I don't think I have ever noticed this setting before - was it by any chance new? But I am now back to points but I am not too happy with the way fonts are working. But I suspect that is me and I just need to repopulate with fonts I like.
