My computer is Macbook Pro 14" M2 Pro 2023 with 16GB of RAM, I bought it in September 2023. After I installed Adobe Family it ran normally, because the specifications were higher than my previous computer. but lately when I use Adobe Photoshop 2024 Version: 25.9.1 20240610.r.626 to open dozens of photo files for collage, a few moments later Photoshop closes by itself. I have consulted the Adobe Agent via chat, even when remote he witnessed it himself when it suddenly closed. Has anyone in the discussion group here ever experienced this? how to prevent "Force Close"?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

16 GB RAM is really not enough nowadays with Apple silicon. Remember that the GPU will eat up a large chunk of that, sometimes up to half. That's what "unified memory" means.
In this situation, the very first thing you need to do is dial down the memory allocation in Preferences. 83 % is way too high! It will choke the rest of the system. I would not go above 60 % here.
It should still work with some precautions, but you will mainly rely on your scratch disk. So make sure you have lots of free disk space for the scratch disk.
You can also alleviate the situation somewhat by reducing the number of history states. Set it to 15 or 20.
