Full screen mode with menu bar; Can see zoom percentage? ie, if  I'm at 100% or 200%?

You could use the Navigator panel.

Window>Navigator

Thanks Jeff, is that the only way? Would be much nicer to get it showing on menu bar.

Why did this go away when I downloaded the 64bit version ? It was a very useful tool when trying to print to scale. Now what do we do ?
