generative fill giving violation code in Photoshop

Explorer ,
May 09, 2025 May 09, 2025

Tonight I tried to create a "blue sky" prompt with generative fill in Photoshop. I made a selection of the dancer, inverted it and tried to create a Blue Sky behind her instead of the studio. I keep getting an error that I have violated Adobe guidelines. I called up Adobe technical support and they encountered the same violation issue. They suspect that the program detected a lot of skin in the subject and thought that it might be a nude. As you can see, it is not. I haven't been able to do a workaround except to substitute a blue gradient (see attached photo), which is not very believable.

Please help!

Thanks,

Charlie

Hi @Tech Explainer
I tried Generative Fill with your image. While I did not get the violation issue, it did not create good 'blue sky' results. Have you tried the Sky Replacement tool? (https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/sky-replacement.html) I tried this with your blue background image and below is one result:

Thanks for trying this - it looks nice. I'm still curious about how it detects images that violate their standards.
