Gradient map how to draw more than one line in the same layer

I have a problem drawing more than one line in the same adjustments layer.
The problem is new to me. I usually can do this without problems - I have probably come to make a setting that was not intended.

I hope for your help
All the best Casper

I just changed the mixing method to "Screen" and then I can ... But is it the right method?

Screen will lighten, multiply will darken, so the 'correct' blend will depend on how you want the two to combine.

Dear Dave... Thanks...

But for me it makes no sense that it only works if I am in "Screen mode" - And when I use "Screen mode" (which I totally agree with brightens) - then the image gets darker (exactly as desired in the mask I want to use GM in)

Hi

Your curve is set up to darken the image. If you use screen blend mose to make the mask lighter in certain areas, then the image will get darker in those areas (due to the curve adjustment being stronger where the mask is lighter).
