Gradient map slider doesn't update image in real time

New Here ,
Mar 21, 2024 Mar 21, 2024

Gradient maps only live-update in the navigator window and not in the main image until I let go of the slider (in the gradient editor panel). All other sliders appear unaffected and update main image whilst sliding. This means I'm unable to make any fine adjustments.

Based on your note “V25.6 | Win 11”, I've moved your post from Using the Community (for forum questions) to Photoshop which is currently in version 25.6 and has gradient maps.

Did this behavior start with the update to 25.6? Or when did you first notice it?

Yes, sorry, it's a Photoshop issue and thanks for moving (first post here). I noticed the issue then updated to 25.6 hoping it would solve it but didn't pay attention to what I was on before but have only had this account for about 6 months so wouldn't have been too old. Was using a work account previous to that for several years and it was never a problem so assume it's within that period.

In the meantime until Adobe fixes it, you can see "live updates" by highlighting the relevant field and use the mouse Scroll Wheel or the keyboard up/down arrow keys to change the values.

Welcome to the Adobe forums! No worries, it's not your job to navigate through the forums. We are happy to move posts to the board where they are most likely to get a reply.
