Hardware recommended for a photoshop workstation.

Hello, I work for a company that asked me to build them a photoshop specific workstation, after considering going overkill (9950X/128gb ram/ 4080) I spent a little more time and saw the diminished returns of some specific pieces and came up with a more budget friendly config.

The projects mostly consist of 20gb tiff files for color correcting and some editing using clone tools and stuff like that. Using some of the hardware we already have (2x 2tb ssds 2x 5tb hdds), this are the specs

ryzen 9700x

64gb ram 5600mhz

Asus TUF b650-e motherboard.

RTX 4060ti.

1tb nvme.

2tb sata SSD x2

5tb WD Black x2

The questions I have, since I don't work with Photoshop at all are:

Would 128gb ram have a big impact considering the size of the files?

Is the 1tb nvme enough for System + scratch disk or should I have a different disk for the system? The project itself will be saved to the 2tb ssds and eventually moved to the 5tb for storage.

Thank you in advance for any tips you can help me with.

Thank you for the the reply, that was the site I used as basis for the configuration (9700x, 4060ti etc) but since ram and storage requirements are heavily based on the workload being done, I posted here so people with real world experience could advise me further. I'm fairly certain it's a good configuration, but I chose a motherboard with 4 ram slots so I can upgrade if needed (2x 32gb populated).

I guess since it's the first time they asked me to spec a workstation for PS, I want to be extra sure I'm giving them the best bang for their buck.
