Hi, I need to create a PS plugin that open a multi-layer image file format, but the examples that brings up the SDK wasn't useful for me. Anyone know where can I find PS plugin example code??

The gradientImport example don't use any source to import data... I need an example (format or import) that loads a file, (with some layers, if it's possible) and create a document.

I'm surprised... the Photoshop SDK is so much "obscure"!!! In the gradientImport  the plugin needs more than 2000 code lines to create a simple gradient image!!!

This question was asked (and answered) just a month ago: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/504417 You should find all the information you need there, as it also worked great for us.

Btw, I think there is something wrong with the forum search: typing, say, "multi-layer image" in the search box doesn't really find anything except _this_ post...
