Help with Installation on MacBook Pro 13 laptop

Hello, I recently purchased an older model Macbook Pro 13 Laptop with the intention of using photoshop on it. I also recently purchased a monthly photoshop subscription and I'm unable to use it as it states my computer is not applicable and needs to be updated. The instructions of how to do this seem very complicated as I'm a first time macbook user and I was wondering if anyone can provide me help on how to update my system so I can use the photoshop I already paid for. Thanks in advance!

How old exactly? Click Apple logo > About This Mac to get details.

Then check against this list to verify your MBP can be upgraded to Monterey

The System Requirements help page for Mac systems says OSX 10.12 (Catalina) as a minimum.   I couldn't find the system specs for an MBP13 as Google insisted on interpreting my query as 13".  So what OS level does is your laptop running, and what is its hardware spec?  Are you able to update to a later version of OSX?

Hi

Take a look here

Also make sure that the MAC meets the Photoshop system requirements
