I have managed to get my nik collection to show up on the filter menu in photoshop 2022. when I open Silver Efex it all works as usual but when I press ok it does not put the layer back into photoshop. On the history panel it show Silver Efex but in the layer panel it is not there. Anyone know how to help. thanks.

Hi

I have the same version of the Nik collection as you and it's working fine for me with Photoshop 2022

One thing to try, go into the Silver Efex settings and select the option I highlighted in the screenshot, restart Photoshop to see if it helps

Thank you. Interestingly it was set up to make a seperate layer and doesn't wok that way but when I changed it to apply to current layer that actually worked. At least i can use it this way if i can't sort it. thank you for your help.

A possible solution to this problem is to convert the layer to a smart object before invoking Silver Efex from the filter menu.
