Hi,

Not sure how to fix this issue. When viewed at 100%, none of my Creative Cloud products show me the display at their actual size. Currently the display setting is about 1/3 of what it should be. The image below is a 5" x 7" image displayed on a typical 14" laptop. While I'm posting this in Photoshop, the issue is affecting my Illustrator and InDesign as well.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled ACC and searched through ruler settings and had Adobe screenshare with me for over an hour trying to solve this issue. Any help is appreciated.

At 100% magnification Photoshop maps one screen pixel to one image pixel and so the size on screen depends on the pixel dimension of the image. If you upsize the image so it contains more pixels it will be bigger on screen. What you probably want is to fit the image to the screen. You can do that by pressing ctrl 0 or cmd 0. The zoom won't be 100% but it will be easier to work on.

Currently the display setting is about 1/3 of what it should be. The image below is a 5" x 7" image

Digital images don't have physical dimensions, they only have pixel dimensions.

But they can have a ppi number (pixels per inch), which will determine the print size.

Yor image seems to be 500 x 357 pixels, which at 72 ppi will print at 6.94 x 4.95 inches. (pixel dimensions divided by ppi).

Viewed on screen, the image is just 500 x 357 pixels, which is how it displays at 100%.

Ppi is irrelevant for screen viewing – it only comes into play when printing.

Hi

To view at Print size:

a. Make sure the Image resolution (ppi)  in Image . Image Size matches the resolution at which you will print.

b. In Preferences > Units & Rulers set the screen resolution to match the pixel resolution of your monitor

c. Click on View >Print Size
