Hello everyone,

Could you tell me how I can add a smile onto someone's face with teeth and everything. I see this often on the internet but always wonder how to do it. I know the liquify tool can change some parts of the face but I never understand how people do it with teeth and everything.

Could you please help me with also finding the right search words for this? So I can find a tutorial?

I included a picture of what I want to change.

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,

You can use liquify to change the shape of the face and mouth but to include teeth you will need to either;

a. Use a mouth from another image and mask it to fit    or

b. Draw and paint it

Don't forget when someone smiles the other muscles in the face move, not just the mouth, so a combination of liquify plus compositing another mouth will be needed.

Thank you dave for the quick reply.

Oh I see, that might be a bit too hard for a novice like me.

So there arent like any PNG smiles that I can use as far as you know? Or is there any other way that I would be able to do this, templates etc?

Hi, you will surely find smiles in PNG, but of course you still have to work on it to make the effect realistic to avoid pointing out the photomontage.
