How can I send an email with a photoshop made graphic with working hyperlinks?

Hi. I am currently composing a one-sheet for my band using photoshop. I have created the graphic and have made the slices so that when clicked on, they will send you our website and social media accounts. The trouble I am having is that when I export the graphic for web use, the HTML link that is created does work when I open it from my desktop, but when I email it, only the slices and hyperlinks work. None of the images are with the HTML link. Is there any way for me to send an email with the full graphic and hyperlinks? Thanks.

hello i have the same problem. i am using outlook to send

i am having the same issue. i have been trying to get help for the last 5hrs with adobe chat support and adobe remote support but the agents keep leaving the chat. i do not believe this should be very complicated.

tim@tim-stephens.com there is an easy cheat to sending an image as a hyperlink via Outlook.

Save your PS image as a jpg or other web compatible format (png, etc.).

Place the image in Outlook.

Right-Click the image and choose "Hyperlink" from the dropdown menu.

Insert your URL as a "Web Page or File"

Send your email.

You can't specify a "hotspot" and send via Outlook - that is not supported.

Hi Kevin, thank you. I have 2 links i want to include in the image which i guess it causing the problem.

to do using hyperlinks in outlook i will need to make 2 seperate images for email.

We explored this with Microsoft extensively at work and it came down to adding links below the email as HTML would break/fracture depending on screen size - making hot spot locations change/break or just keeping it to one link to a landing page that had the multiple links there.

i guess it can if i use some other software to create the image or the links?

Yes you could use a third party service like Acoustic or MailChimp.

just thought i would check - is there no adobe software that can do this? i pay £50 a month for the full creative suite and find it hard to believe with all this i cannot create an email invitation with a couple of links in it.

tim@tim-stephens.com its a limitation of Outlook not Adobe.
