1. Maximize your app.
2. Dock image tabs inside your workspace.
3. Go to Window > Arrange. Tile all tabs vertically or horizontally.
Hope that helps.

@NTC Ann are you reading the responses in this thread on email?
That might be the reason you appear not to be not seeing attachments/embedded screenshots and we can't see those you are referring to. To attach an image to a post you need to be signed in to the forum software and click on the icon in the posting box. Email attachments do not appear in the forum thread.

I found the drag and drop window!!!
Now just need to know how to get back to opening multiple images so I can work (it's not tiling)
And how do I shorten the color palatte... I finally got the character and paragraph - and the color palatte docked by going all the way down to bottom of the long layers one... but now color is really long... don't know how to shorten.
Thanks Dave and Melissa for trying to help me!!!

It would more helpful if we could see your entire Photoshop app, maximized to full screen width.
Window > Arrange > Consolidate All to Tabs or Tile vertically/horizontally (your choice).

Every time I try to reply, Adobe wants me to sign in and doesn't recognize password and have to keep resetting.
Maximizin the window does not help... it does not allow me to get what is on desktop to the right so I can access what is there to add to my main image if needed.
Tiling is not helping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Prior to being hacked and computer taken down and reset... I could open all the windows..... not as tabs on top. Not tile. I would open one image and then have the other images resized to smaller so I could move off the workspace to R and drag or copy over to my resized canvas with my main image which I usually put in upper L. See the 2 images I attached.
Each image was a separate OPEN image stacked on top of the bottom one so I could resize the top ones as needed and move off workspace to R and have access.
So the upper L image is main image. Canvas resized and then I move over parts or the image to the canvas and save as one image.
+ I managed to (dock) 2 windows.... character & PP and color... but now how do I shorten the bottom one... in this case color.... so if I need to make layers taller or something else.

Right now.... no matter what I try... it only allows me to open ONE and only one image at a time.... putting tabs at top does NOT help.... if click on tab... it only opens that one image.

I just want to be able to open all my images as in past and tabbing at top or tiling does NOT help at all.

Right now I have about 40 images I need to resize much smaller into 4 single images... nothing is helping me achieve that. + Adobe forum keeps wanting me to sign in again to Adobe ID... which I keep doing and had to reset good password twice again!!!!!

And when I re-open photoshop = again... it wants me to reset my password... is't there some way to keep it working so when I click on Photoshop on the dock... it just opens Photoshop and doesn't send a special code and wanting me to reset my password again!!!!!

Hi Ann, I agree with Lumingraphics. I also understand it can be difficult to someone local. You can also find online tutors / classes. I sent you a private message, if you click on my name, you can message me and see the message I sent. You have to be logged into the forums, not through email. I can give you some company names to look into for training.

Just mouse over and click on my name in the forum thread... This will take you to my profile page where you can send me a message. A the top right of the screen in the forums, you should see a little envelope with a 1 letting you know you have a message from me.

Hi everyone and thank you for trying to help me. I had overnighted a letter to the CEO's office at Adobe.
David from India just called me and helped me.
You no longer choose say 4 images to open - that way just opens 1 on desktop at a time.
But... you create a new file in the size you want. Then resize the canvas so you have area to add. things too.
Now, you drag and drop your image and be sure to click on the arrow for transform which is above the workspace window to the right...
Then you can drag the next image over. You do not need to open it before dragging over. But be sure to click on the arrow to (set) the image in place. They come over as diff. layers and you can merge the layers when you are ready.
Below is the example of a bunch of images that we set up.
This is just a jumble of images for example while he was helping me.
Thank you David from India!!!
He also told me there is an Adobe Support contact for M-F only (not weekends).
Now I can create my images like I want.
Thank you all for trying to help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Click on the check mark to the R on the top bar (just to the L of it is the circle with the angled line thru it).
It's not an arrow

Clicking on that check mark each time you add an image to what you are working on sets it.

I am sorry if this is dup... but... Don't know if this made it thru. It appears just when I tried to add anothr picture in reply... this message was not there = ???Computer hacked a week ago. Rebuilt this week. Now can't get Photoshop to behave as before was hacked last week.
What I get by tiling vertically is attached.... but notice the window with the dog, cat.... that is how I used to get my files to open more than one at a time. Making the top L image. Then increasing canvas size. The other images are smaller and set off to the side so I can copy paste or drag onto the main image to make one image instead of a # of images. I used to get multiple images opening instead of just. one... then could resize the ones I wanted to to smaller so that I could move things off them to the main image after I resized my canvas size so I could work.
The vertical windows won't go smaller so I can move them off to the side and work on them. I may be able to move one but the rest won't move.
And you notice... the color window/palette won't dock or link below layers. Layers goes all way to bottom and can't find a way to shorten it up to see if can get colors, character, paragraph palettes to stay in place... they are floating on the desktop and won't lock or dock to the R side
