Hi there
I've made an action to save a contact sheet to my desktop as a PDF. It's very simply 'flatten image, save as PDF, close' but for some reason Photoshop always freezes for about 30 minutes (including brings all my other apps to almost a stand still) when trying to save the first one. As soon as that is saved the rest save as quickly as clicking the action.
I've been on the phone with Adobe three times now and tried many things but it's looking like it must be the action itself.
Does anyone know where I might be going wrong?
Thanks.

No idea of what is wrong but here are some suggestions that you may have already heard from Adobe support.
1. Delete the action and record it again.
2. Check the playback options in the action panel fly-out menu.
3. Check the performance section in preferences for the scratch disk setting to make sure the disk used has enough free space and the RAM setting.
For what it is worth, I can't reproduce that problem either manually or with an action
