Hi everyone, I have just accsidently transformed a layer into 3D and I don't know how to get it back to 2D. I tried pressing the undo button but it didn't do anything...

I have not saved my documnt before turning it 3D otherwise I would have just closed the document and not saved it then reopened the origional.

Please help!!!

best wishes,
Brandon

Try this:

  • Switch your workspace to Essentials (or your preferred workspace) in Window menu > Workspace
  • Open the History panel (Window menu) and step back in history to before you converted to 3D. History only shows if you keep your document open and do not close it.

Photoshop does not have an Appearance menu. Layers are hidden/deleted in the Layers panel.

Did you use ChatGPT?

Could you please post screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Properties, Options Bar, …) visible?

@Ged_Traynor And @c.pfaffenbichler ,

I replied to a post from today from @Uthaya37532967e704 , but the post makes no sense at all.
