How do you import a 3d texture and apply it to an object in Photoshop?

I am doing a test to as follows: I have a 3D object in Photoshop as shown below and want to import a 3D texture into Photoshop and apply it to the object. See texture below. How would I do this?

Adobe is soon to be removing all 3D features in Ps, so it's best to learn another app like Blender.
