How exit Magic Wand or other tools

Greetings all. Total Photoshop newbie here.

I am working on an artboard making a filmstrip being guided by a video tutorial.

I am using Photoshop CC 2017 and Windows 7.

I have my strip made and photos inserted using the Magic Wand tool.

I now want to exit the tool and go back to the artboard and layers to duplicate the strip but do not know how to get out of the Magic Wand tool.

I can go to another tool but then cannot get out of that.

I have tried resetting all tools and have tried Ctrl D to no avail.

I just want to go back to the work area with no tools selected.

I am sure there is some simple command that the tutorial assumes everyone knows, but I don't.

Any help would be appreciated.

All sorted thanks. I discovered the Art Board tool hiding behind the move tool.
