I am a little confused on how Photoshop's timeline feature works. Here's the problem
In photoshop, it's possible to have multiple layers to make up 1 image.
What I would like to do is have multiple layers make up 1 frame in the timeline. But photoshop uses the layers as frames.
I use Premiere Pro more than any other adobe product and Premiere Pro's way of makeing moving pictures is by having the video's timeline in a 2d plane and not 1d. And by that, I mean, you can add things Forward in time and Upward in layers. Photoshop's timeline seems to be 1d, where the layers only go forward in time and you cant add multiple layers to 1 frame.
So is there any way for me to add multiple layers to 1 frame? Is there a pluggin or an alternative program I can use?

You could flatten layers before bringing image into Timeline.
Keep in mind that Photoshop is first & foremost a static image editor, not a video editor. I prefer to use After Effects or Premier for video.
What's your goal in using Photoshop for video?

Well it's not videos I want to edit. I would use Premiere for videos. I need Photoshop for gifs

Select the frame or frames.
Select the layers
Use Ctrl , to toggle the layers on for that frame.
Make Frames from Layers is a great way to start a frame animation, but after that, you have to manually do the frame and layer syncing. If you have multiple moving objects then syncing them can be time consuming and it is easy to get into a tizz. My number one, best peice of advice I can give to anyone using Photoshop to create frame animations is to create ALL of the content first. When you start putting it together, save often, and if you find you are out of sync, think about going back to your last saved position, because it can be a nightmare trying to fix otherwise.
