I have an element I want to place smack dab in the center of my PS "canvas". How do I do that? Seems like it should be so easy, and it certainly is in ID and AI...but I can't figure out how to do it in PS!
I assume it is a two layer file. Click one layer in the Layers panel and then hold down the Shift key and click on the other layer to choose both in the Layers panel. Choose the Move tool and first click on the symbol marked by the first red arrow, then click on the symbol indicated by the second red arrow.
(Sorry for the edits. I was typing while talking on the phone.)

I use Ctrl+A to select All.
Click on Move Tool.
Click on Vertical & Horizontal Alignment.
