The Creator of this skin says that it can be done in photoshop.
I've been sitting for 3 days and I can't figure out how to do it.

Hello, you need the 3D model and like Mylenium it's easy or a right way to do it in Photoshop but if you have the 3D model you can use Adobe Dimension and made it, not the animation but you can find the right texture or made it with adobe capture; Have a look at the bustance source materials 😉 if you want made it great  https://source.substance3d.com/

Dimension : https://www.adobe.com/products/dimension.html

Capture : https://www.adobe.com/products/capture.html?promoid=R726NTWG&mv=other

I wouldn't call building a layered shader easy !

Adding materials to a model using Substance is straightforward but real irridescence is not.

This has nothing to do with PS. Such effects are specific shaders in the game engine/ 3D-program. the creator may have produced specific normal maps or colored textures to transition between, but the actual logic of at which angles to display which parts of the texture(s) is entirely up to constructing a suitable layered shader in the engine. If it hasn't provision for this sort of thing, then you can spend al lthe time in the world in PS for nothing. To be honest, though, this is by no means a genuine iridiscent/ pearlescent shader. He simply seems to have slapped a rainbow-colored texture into the reflection channel, which at best qualifies as a cheap, unsophisticated hack.

After learning that it depends on the Shader, I still can't figure out how to color the texture?
