How to create rippling effect in Photoshop

Hi all,

I wanted to know if there was a way to create a water ripple effect from the back of a kayak picture on a lake as if the kayak was in motion? for example:

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Which version of Photoshop are you using?

Hi and thanks for the input.  not sure if the wave effect will be "natural" enough for a small boat going through the water?
