Hi. I'm not sure what has happened with the last update, but I'm constantly getting the error "chime"! It's driving me crazy. Almost always when I hit enter or delete. Regardless, I'm over it. Can anyone please tell me how to disable the sounds within Photoshop? I can't just turn down my volume because I have to be able to hear in another tab. Thank you from the bottom of my heart if you have the answer.

I'm using Windows 10 on a Dell XPS laptop. Photoshop most current update. Thanks.

In Preferences > General, is there a checkmark on 'Beep When Done'?

I also get it when I zoom in and out, and use Control Z. Pretty much all of my control actions are cause the "error" chime. It's driving me loony 😕

This was a big trouble for me, too. I ended up muting "critical stop" in Windows sound.
