how to extract images without layer styles?

Hey Team,

I often work with designs where there are images that have layer styles to add a border and add rounded corners. I want to be able to export this image without those additional styles, so I can add them with CSS instead. Currently, the border and border radius are extracted along with the image.

Cheers,

Kilian

Hi, Kilian-

Unfortunately, Extract CC doesn't have this functionality at the moment. However, we'd be curious how you'd like to see this work and in what context you want this feature. Are you thinking you'd export your image and then use CSS to make the corners yourself?

Thanks,

-Elaine

Essentially things like that are layer styles so I expect them to be in the style tab, and not be there when exporting images. Images in psd's are usually placeholders but their general style (ratio, border-radius, border-style) need to be present in the css so they get applied regardless of the source image.

Perhaps some way to 'turn off layer styles', which is basically what we did before parfair/extract, would be nice.

Thanks for your feedback, Kilian! I'll pass this along to the rest of our engineering team.
