How to find a free Photoshop Template

I opened Photoshop yesterday. Version 25.11.0.

On the splash page there was a free Template. I used it to create a poster. I merged some layers that were included in the template. Now I need to un-merge some layers; so I need to find that template, so I can access the layered art within it.

I re-started Photoshop, thinking the template that was there yesterday would still be there, but no luck.

I searched Plug-ins with no luck.

How do I search for this template? I've tried several searches with no luck. Here's what the template looks like:

Thanks for any advice on finding this template.

Because you mentioned that the artwork was in the New Document dialog, I created a new document and clicked through the intents categories. I found it in Art & Illustration, and it's called Dappled Light Shadow Kit. You should find it both there and under Recent (you may need to scroll down to the templates). Or you can use the link below:

I'm so glad I could help.

Would you mind marking my answer as correct in case anyone else has the same question? Thanks! 🙂

When you create a new document, the New Document dialog opens. The document presets are separated into groups of different types of documents that you might want to create. Some Adobe applications refer them as "Intents" -- meaning that preset fits the intent of what you want to make.
