"Small group of people in casual clothes having a discussion"
Not even really sure what to say about this. Sure feels like a bug, but figured I'd ask.

Have you thought of finding a usable stock photo? Adobe Stock, Getty, Shutterstock, Alamy, etc.

Confirms all my prejudice against ai...not touching that stuff 😄 😄

If you really want to use AI and not a stock photo (which I would agree with both of the summations above--I would look for stock too!) then you need to be very specific in your text to image description. The more detail you give it, the better fitting image you will get. There are a few websites you can google to get some good descriptions to use.

What did you use to generate this image. That looks like the early Firefly results.
I was going to suggest trying a reference image, but it worked fine without.
These are two of the results from 'A group of people standing having a discussion'
The same prompt using this reference image
Gave me this. The hands were a bit distorted in one of the images, but the faces were good in all three.
This is Photoshop beta 25.11.0 and Generate Background which is using Firefly Image 3
I have not seen results as bad as your example in a good while now.

Mine is also really bad. I generated 20 times and it has this unsatisfied outcome with this prompt:
"two female visitors wearing green trousers and white shirts as business clothes standing on front of the exhibition, their back is facing the camera, long hair, realistic humans, detailed, photography".
How can I get realistic results? Nomatter what I prompt people seems always look weird and blurry undifined like this.

I don't think it's quite there yet to do people like this. I would never attempt it. Give it time. Stock photos are your best bet here. If it's not in the budget, you can search for free images at stock.adobe.com - just select free from the drop down.

Thanks for the note - Unfortunately, giving it time doesn't work for commercial projects. Stock images won't really work for things that need to be specific.

Just a few years ago the only options would have been a stock photo or a proper photo shoot (forgetting illustration or painting).
How fast the world has changed!
