How would you give the skin a more even tan and overall professional look to it? The starting image:
The underarm on the right arm is much lighter than the other arm. Overall Id like the skin to be more even toned and also a bit more tan (realistic tan). More professionally edited as well. Like the skin on this photo:
How would you go about editing the skin of the model in the green shirt, to make it more even toned, more tan with a sunkissed glow, and edited to look more professional, like the model in the reddish pink shirt?
Thank you so much for your help 😄

One way to darken the area would be to select the areas you want to appear darker (try using the Object Selection Tool set to Lasso mode), add a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer, and then adjust the Saturation and Lightness sliders in the Properties panel for a subtle change:

I went an "additive" route with my solution.

This looks a bit unnatural to me 😞 do you have any other techniques?

The two models obviously have different skin types.
It's also common for there to be different levels of sun exposure on outer vs. inner facing areas for many people.
To level the skin without totally flattening it, you could try using darken blend mode to blend a darker version at reduced opacity.
Personally, I would put more focus on the product, not the model.

The tan doesnt need to match tone for tone. Just looking for a way to even out the skin to be more evenly tanned, like the reference photo is evenly tanned. The color of the lower left arm on the model in green shirt may be a good starting point to then apply that tan to the rest of the skin in a natural way.
