How to open multiple documents from "recently opened" list

Explorer ,
Apr 24, 2020 Apr 24, 2020

"Subject" title says it all.  I want to open several documents at once from the "recently opened" list.  Specifically, a group of images that will make up a stitch.  When I click on any of the images, it opens immediately.  I don't want that.  I want to pre-select a group using "alt click" and THEN open them all at once.

Am I asking too much?

Sorry, using "Control-click"  or "Shift-click" to select a subset of images.

You could most likely script a Dialog th would allow you to select more than one file to open from open recent.  You can not do that in Adobe PS UI.

Thanks, JJ.  Confirmed my estimation.  No idea or interest in writing a script.
