After the last update, the corrections window no longer works; or the next level windows to edit have disappeared.
When I press Levels, Gradation Curves, Exposure, or the others , a Properties window now appears.
How do I get my window to edit the respective correction now?

I'm struggling to work out what you mean by 'Corrections Window'. Where did this window appear in the Essentials workspace? The Properties window might be doing exactly the same thing, but without having a firm grasp on your issue, I can only guess.
What operating system are you using?

Thanks.....think easy...photoshop has only one "correction window".
Go this way: first row.....windows.....the first is 3D....go down to corrections.....then you have the "corrections window" with 16 different corrections, the first is brightness-contrast, the next is tonal correction, then gradation curves....and then the others.
My system is windows 10/64.

Yes, OK, but the correct terminology is "panel", not window. Window is something else. It's called "adjustment panel", not "correction window". Just so we all know what you're talking about.
I know the app translations to other language versions can be terrible. I looked once at a Norwegian Photoshop version (I'm Norwegian), and immediately cringed. I have since sworn to never set eyes on a Norwegian version again, ever.

I have the german version of photoshop. And in this photoshop-version the name in the first row is
"Fenster" ( english: "window") ; before is "view" and after the last one is "help".
"Korrekturen" is the word in german-photoshop, so I translate it in corrections.
Ok, Adobe has wrong translations.
So to my problem, any ideas ? Without the adjustment panel I cannot work with photoshop !

So to be clear. If you click an adjustment, say Curves, you do not get the Properties panel (as per my screenshot above) where you can adjust the curve? Nothing?

Yes, you understood.
If I click an adjustment then open this panel. With this panel I can do nothing.
And this happens with all adjustments.

So, just to be clear, the Eigenschaften / Properties panel comes up blank?
I don't see any actual Adjustment lar in your layers panel.

I repeat: In this screenshot you see the panel, which open after click on any of the 16 adjustments.
You and I dont see more and less.
This happened after the last cc-updates.
This is the reason why I ask here in the forum:
"How to open a adjustment panel ?"

Does it work if you go through the menu? (Layer > New Adjustment Layer).

Ohhhh.....this works.

OK. I don't know the mechanics at work here, but the panels are controlled by some sort of extension (used to be Flash before that was killed off).
So apparently some peripheral component didn't install correctly in your system. I'd try an uninstall/reinstall.

Ok thanks, I will try a new installation.

second test:
I can open nothing in the menu "layer - new adjustment layer.
All fonts are pale.
But I find another point:
It is a different, if I open a picture with lightroom or with camera-Raw.
With the way over lightroom I habe these issues. With camera-raw all ok.
But my workflow is with lightroom. Here I make my selection and then open several pictures.
This workflow still does not work.

Yes, menu items grayed out from Lightroom is a known bug. I don't see it here, but others have reported that too. They're working on it and it will probably be fixed in a new dot release.
The workaround for this issue is to open Photoshop first.
It suddenly occurs to me that these two may be connected. Can you try that - open Photoshop first, then see if your adjustment layers work?

Ohh yes, thank you.
If I open photoshop first, it works.
Now I can continue my work. A bear for you.

Great. Then your issue is a known bug that they're working on, and you just need to wait for the fix

I think he means the Properties panel - but maybe hitting mask properties instead of layer properties.
mov4, click the adjustment icon, not the mask icon:
