That's not what you do. That's not how it works.

Hi,
I've done a bit of googling for you to save too much explanation here:
The definition of HTML is HyperText Markup Language.
https://www.yourhtmlsource.com/starthere/whatishtml.html
Websites generally use Jpeg, GIF or PNG for images.
Here's some info:
https://themeisle.com/blog/best-image-format/
You can make those formats in Photoshop which even has a "save for web" process built in to help you.
this migfht help: https://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2015/06/save-for-web-in-photoshop-cc-2015.html
Best to use Jpeg I find, set image sixe to close to the size it will be online (sized by number of pixels, not PPI or DPI) - and make sure to embed the sRGB profile as it’s a tiny additionnto the file and makes viewing a touch more likely to be accurate
I hope this helps
if so, please "like" my reply and if you're OK now, please mark it as "correct", so that others who have similar issues can see the solution
thanks

Hi
I agree with what others have said that you should not use PS to HTML as a workflow. That being said, here are sites from Adobe that explains the process:

https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/using/dreamweaver-integration-extract.html
