New to the group and Photoshop. I have a circle designed logo and need to remove 1 of the colors from the circle allowing the garment color to show through in that space. I also have text inside one of the other colors that I would like the garment color to be the printed text.
All recomendations are appreciated.
I'll use this as an example
Lets say we need to change the green.
Add a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer.
Click on the little hand icon, and then on the green color
You can see that that colour has been selected in the color bars at the base of the properties panel.
From here you desaturate and adjust the lightness slide, or adjust the Hue slider to change the colour
I have done the latter in the example below.
Note, that I have filled half the layert mask with black so we can see a before and

I got the answer. I'm new and learning all the specific. Next time I'll be more specific and upload the image with their permission.

Are you creating this file, or did someone give it to you? If you're creating it, you should have all elements on separate layers, where you can use a layer mask to remove the items where you want to see the garment color. If someone gave you the file it all depends if the file has layers or is flattened. Can you post a screen shot?

It soulds like what you want to achieve could be achieved with Layer Masks and Clipping Masks, but your description seems close to useless without meaningful screenshots (including the pertinent Panels).
For example what do you image people to make of you mentioning »the garment color«?
What garment? What is its connection to the logo?

Sorry about not included all the specifics. I'm new at this but will be more detail next time. However, an earlier response was given and it was exactly what I needed. Thanks!!
