How to revert to earlier version of Bridge? ?

Contributor ,

I unfortunately updated Bridge today and I can't make heads nor tails of the thing. I went into Creative Cloud App to try and go back to previous version but there is no option, only the option to Open.

This all started because my Ratings filter disappeared from the little box in the lower left. Now I'm in a total mess. Why, Adobe? Why????

Please help. Thanks!

Updated to say, a couple hours later and I have discovered the problem. User error, as usual. I had moved all of my four-star images into a folder and that ratings filter is only available in the main folder when there's a mixture of images with different ratings. I think I'm all sorted out now. Thank you.

Hi @sarapia777 Sorry to hear about the trouble. Are you talking about Bridge 13.0? Have you looked through the “What's new” post to see what might have changed? https://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/using/whats-new.html

Do you have automatic updates turned on? It's probably best to disable that. You should be able to see previous versions from Creative Cloud desktop by clicking on the three dot menu and selecting “Other versions.” Let us know if that helps.

I do not have update automatically selected. I did find a way to uninstall the newest version, but it is taking forever to install. My main problem, and the reason I updated, is my ratings filter has gone missing. You know the little thing down on the left hand side that tells you how many files you have with five stars or four stars or no rating etc well today it suddenly disappeared and I'm working on a project that I desperately need that tool for. And yes I have ratings selected as an option to show in that little lower left hand box. I've been on this thing now for 2 hours trying to figure it out.

If you wish to roll back to an older version, use the Creative Cloud application, click on the three dots (...) and select “Other Versions”.

Yes, I knew that but I was not getting that option. There were no 3 dots. I eventually found it, but I'm in another mess right now trying to get my ratings filter back. It's nowhere to be found. And I am chatting with an agent who apparently has never heard of The thing. You know what I'm talking about, right? Down on the left hand side under filters it shows you how many files you have in the folder that are rated five star or three star or no rating. Will that has gone totally missing and I really need it.
