Hi, new to photoshop. I recently edited a jpeg.jpg through photoshop and need to save it onto a usb drive to view on a television monitor. I've saved it as a jpeg, but when I view through the television, the file does not show. The file I edited before displayed on the monitor with no issue, and it saved as a jpeg.jpg, while my new updated file that I edited is saved as jpeg.psd and is not showing. Any idea on how to fix that? Thank you.

You have saved your file as a Photoshop (.psd) file instead of a JPEG.
If you are looking for a simple way to do this go to the File menu and choose Save As. Change the Format drop down menu to JPEG and choose Save. In the JPEG Options dialogue box set your Quality to whatever you need and choose OK.

Since Jpegs do not support "floating layers", they are resaved as psd, a format that does. You have to flatten the file if you do not need to keep the layers. "Flatten" is found in the Layers Panel menu.
If it's just a single "Layer 0", flattening it will change it into a "Background" layer and then you can save it as a jpeg.
Where I see users get blindsided is when they use the Crop Tool and uncheck "Delete Cropped Pixels". This is good if you want to come back to the file and adjust the crop, where the pixels are hidden away on a second layer. If your crop is going to be final, check Delete...Pixels, so that you can keep it as a jpeg.

Hi Nadia,
I'm confused by your subject line, " How to Save Pdf as Jpeg.Jpg".
On the odd chance that you need to know how to do that, in Acrobat, choose File > Export To > Image > JPEG
If not, we can change your subject line to match your question.
