Hue/Saturation greyed out

Apr 25, 2020 Apr 25, 2020

Hi everyone

Has anyone noticed that the three Eyedropper tools are greyed out in Hue/Saturation?

It's great that you can choose a colour and adjust the hue + saturation but a few times a week at least I use the eyedroppers to get a white balance in a photo.

No it's not greyscale.

Yes I know you can do a similair thing in the RAW editor and LEvels and Curves, but they don't seem to give the same contrtol as the Hue/Saturation eye droppers did.  You'd just choose a white in the photo and the whole photo would adjust.

Yes I reset all my preferences, and it didn't change anything.

Has it been changed?

Removed?

Please help!

Thanks

DavidB

I can't see your screenshot for some reason. The eye dropper tools are only active if you choose a color instead of 'Master'. Could that be the explanation?

They are greyed out if you have it set to "Master". It's been that way since at least CS4. Were you possibly using some other adjustment before?
