I am extremly frustrated....
When I open Photoshop or any other CC program, the adobe CEP HTML Engine uses 100% of my internet speed... (I only have a 6mb/s connection and adobe uses 7mb/s somethimes...?!).
I can't force the task to shut down because it will come back anyways.
What in the world is adobe downloading in the background when I havn't even started a new document.
I even disables the sync. function in the creative cloud program....
Sometimes its not the program itself but the task called Node.js:Server-side Java Script(32 Bit), which usese 6mb/s.
Its the worst!! -- i cant work like that...
If this continues i will switch to affinity photo and designer!!!
My setup: win10 64bit ryzen 1600, 16gb ram, gtx 1060 6gb, NO 3rd party plugins!
btw cpu and memory usage is normal!

The application does not connect to the web, apart from when you download the application and, very occasionally, to check that you're up-to-date with your subscription.

The CEP HTML engine is attempting to enable HTML5 extensions or plugins used in Photoshop.
Go to Preferences/Plugins and disable "Allow extensions to connect to the interest" and "Load extension panels".
See if that resolves it.
