I am trying to make shadow like the video of Ramirez showing but it is not working for some reason

Hello,

I am looking for video of jesus samirez to make shadow on the car object but something is going wrong.

when I dubble click on layer mask to choose option drop shadow it is not working .

The first part of the video (drop shadow) is still relevant. You don't double click on the mask, but on the layer, on the area to the right of the layer label text to bring up the layer styles dialogue.

The second technique using 3D in Photoshop is no longer relevant as 3D is deprecated and being removed.

The tutorial uses a 3D layer and you do not appear to have taken that step. I don't use 3D, but I do know that Photoshop is phasing it out. Our @davescm might be able to help you.
