Hey SmileDes,

Option + Delete (Mac) or Alt + Backspace (Windows) will fill with the foreground color.

Command + Delete (Mac) or Ctrl + Backspace (Windows) will fill with the background color.

Shift + Delete (Mac) or Shift + Backspace (Windows) accesses additional fill options.

If the above steps don't help, please share these details:

  1. What version of Photoshop and Windows are you using?
  2. Does this happen in previous version of Photoshop?
  3. Would you mind sharing the video recording of the issue?

Let us know how it goes,

Thanks,

Shivani
